Are you a member of “The Divine Nine?” For those who don’t know “The Divine Nine,” it’s a reference to the nine historically Black Greek letter organizations that make up the National Pan-Hellenic Council, each of which is rich in history. There are thousands of North Carolinians who are affiliated with Divine Nine sororities and fraternities. One of those members is right here in Charlotte, using her designing skills to dress up Charlotte Greeks.
Owned and operated by Aliza`Diggs-Bailey, D3 Creative Concepts is a unique boutique specializing in original and handcrafted leather handbags and accessories apparel, and home accents. The NC State University graduate always knew she’d be in the business of designing one way or another. As a child, Aliza dreamed of being a fashion designer, constantly drawing up outfits and accessories in her spare time. Now, she works with other designers, artists, and craftsmen to create a truly unique store for Charlotte Greeks to enjoy.
When Aliza isn’t designing or sourcing items for D3 Creative Concepts, you may find her at her second business venture, working as an Airbnb host. Her newest property is located right in the heart of Charlotte, near the Plaza Midwood area, just a short drive away from Uptown Charlotte. She takes great pride in creating a beautiful and peaceful experience for her guests, working tirelessly to do so.
Aliza` tells Charlotte PinC that one of her favorite parts about being both a business owner and designer is that she has creative control over her work. She’s always thinking of ways to elevate her store’s experience, making sure her brand is one to remember. Her next big project is to host social events at D3 or enter the entertainment space altogether. Regardless of what Aliza does next, expect it to be unique, bold, and beautiful!
