August is Black business month. During this month we will introduce and highlight emerging and established women business owners. Our first spotlight is on Lauren Martin. Lauren was poised to take the world by storm when she graduated from college. With a degree in hand, she landed a position as a marketing analyst.
It didn’t take long for her to determine that she needed to make a change. It was then a that Lauren decided to embark on a new entrepreneurial journey. Lauren left the corporate arena and started her own company Luminate Love. Lauren’s passion is to provide safe spaces for girls and women. Her goal is to grow her company by providing services and products that help young girls not only love and embrace each other but learn to love and embrace themselves.
